Another secret of having a blissful life is to be intentional. If you think, your life…
Self-worth vs self-esteem are two different things, however, they are related to each other to how a person views themselves as an individual.
I’m pretty sure that we are aware of the aspects of self-worth and self-esteem, and we all have our beliefs and thoughts about it. This is one thing to consider when identifying yourself’s value and personality, among others.
Have you ever questioned yourself about your worthiness on something or someone? How does it affect your self-esteem when you receive negativity?
In this article, I will look at these two aspects. Let us get to know each of their definitions.
When you try to define self-worth vs self-esteem, Self-worth is believing that you are loveable and a valued person regardless of how you perceive yourself and no matter what your flaws are.
In this case, your self-esteem may still be at the lowest, and as a strong person. You keep holding onto the believe that we all have our natural worth. Remember this, when you don’t feel good about yourself or loved by others. It can be that you are longing these feelings from the wrong or toxic person.
In this case you will need to build some positive thoughts and outlook in life to outdone those negative energy and standardized your self-worth. Stop negative thinking!
I recommend this book “The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You’re Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You are – Sidekick” by Brené Brown. This was a game-changer book in New York Times and considered as one of the bestsellers and it gives you a good way to understand self-worth vs self-esteem.
Form a positive perception it will act as a crutch to handle your weighing emotions, and it will help you stabilize when your self-esteem fluctuates.
You may also seem to be asking a lot where does self-worth comes from?
There are different factors to look at. I think it depends on where it falls on the situation of a person. It can be just a form of virtue as a human being. Most of us consider it an essential trait that an individual should be able to show and handle properly, which can be usually measured with goodness and capabilities.
But regardless of the state you are in or your status, whether you are just an average, talented, rich, successful, or stand at the top, you are you, you are enough, it’s just about time to realize your worth.

No one can or should belittle you because you are trying your best as a person, and you are enough.
Don’t try to please everyone around you. I can even say that most of those people are just jealous of what you have become and achieved in life.
Self-worth falls on the realization of having the capacity to share your gift and blessings. When you are able to do good and make a tremendous and positive impact out there. However small it may be, and it still counts as long as you don’t down somebody to achieve your goal.

Self-esteem On the Otherhand
Self-esteem and self-worth are not the same, but they compliment one another. Why? Because the value of both have a direct impact when one is affected.
I would like to recommend this book of “The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem: The Definitive Work on Self-Esteem by the Leading Pioneer in the Field” by Nathaniel Branden.
The book is filled motivation. Reading “The Six Pillars Of Self-Esteem” is essential for anyone with a personal or professional interest in self-esteem.
Self-esteem is basically how we evaluate ourselves.
It is like an internal assessment, and inner self-evaluation on the qualities and attributes we are good at. What can be our biggest asset to cope with others, and what can be done to progress more on the flaws we have.
These are the most common factors that will immediately affected our self-esteem .
It falls upon a person’s characteristics on how he perceives himself because healthy self-esteem is based on honesty and realistic and achievable goals of what we think, believe and feel towards our virtue.
Building up and maintaining healthy self-esteem depends on what we are like as a person because we evaluate ourselves whether we are fit or not in our certain beliefs and likeness.
What is unhealty self-esteem?
On the other hand, there is also what we considered as unhealthy self-esteem; this comes in two different forms of extremes.
First, when a person thinks too high of himself. This can fall into the trap of narcissism, and the result is too much self-esteem. And because of this, a belief and an attitude of a person will change; you will think that your opinion and what you do matters the most than the others. You tend to ignore and be blinded on noticing others aside from yourself, which can be very detrimental.
In contrast, when a person has low self-esteem, you underestimate, and you keep on looking down yourself.
You limit your opinion and thoughts. You think you cannot do anything right or correct and you hold and keep your capabilities to yourself, and you think it will just bother them.
Believe me that is not the case, because giving a helping hand to others willbe rewarding. Don’t belittle yourself because you are just a human being capable of such a feat to be able to stand at the top one day and be successful.
Set your goals realistically and evaluate what you can do about it to reach it the fastest and easiest way you coul. Don’t put yourself into a cage, go out of your comfort zone and do what you think is right. Just don’t forget who you are and where you came from in the first place if the time comes.
As an individual person, we should try to better ourselves to do good and not limit our capabilities. Help others as long as you can, don’t be a selfish person because helping one another, good things will follow.
Fulfillment with your abilities is an unparalleled self-satisfaction of being able to do something better and contribute to others.
Keep in mind that self-worth vs self-esteem should act as a foundation on being your mental armor and mindset to keep you reminded of who you are and what you are worth for in any situation you encounter.
Self-esteem should complement your self-worth to prove what you can do, and you are good enough as a person. Being able to put yourself with others can be very helpful to see your growth.
You have become and deeply understand other people more. It will allow you to be more honest and realistic about your qualities and capabilities as a person.
Always bear in mind that self-esteem and self-worth should harmonize with one another for your good and well-being.
